2024 January Flag Rugby at one of the 3 schools here in Wausau (below). Sorry for the out-of-focus, but the kids are having a blast.We’ve added another school for the Wausau Area Youth Rugby Program starting February 5th. Planning on having these flag rugby players join us for the summer program so that we may go to Wisconsin Youth Rugby tournaments.

Wausau Area Rugby After School Program
We have three schools enrolled in the Wausau Area Youth Program for the winter quarter: John Marshall Elementary, Riverview Elementary and Grant Elementary with G.D. Jones joining the program in Feburary 2024. This beginning program will introduce the fun of learning to play Flag Rugby and prepare them for the Summer 2024 Youth Rugby Flag tournaments.
What to bring: Dress according to the weather (we will be running)
1)Shorts
2) Football or soccer cleats or tennis shoes.
3) Water
4) This is a noncontact program but if you feel that your child needs to wear a mouthguard then bring one.

Following the Clinics, the Youth Rugby Program will begin on every Tuesday and Thursday which will be 10 weeks long and will start on June 6th at Brockmeyer Park from 5-6:30pm. All sessions will be from 5-6:30pm.
